Toad the Cat

My research buddy Toad was adopted from the Orphan Kitten Project at UC Davis in Dec. 2023 after her mother was killed by a speeding car. Despite her rough start to life, Toad is a curious, affectionate, and fearless cat who loves to explore anywhere her 20 toes will carry her. Toad is a preaxial polydactyl cat (also called mitten cats), with extra toes on her front feet resembling a thumb or mitten.
